In 2017 we founded the hunt4hint Escape Room in the heart of Munich. At the beginning we built the room "Message in the bottle". During the construction we pursued the idea to play against our customers. Our goal was and is to guarantee 1 hour of fun for everyone, no matter how experienced you are. That's also why we don't use difficulty levels in our rooms, because they are all hard. During the game, however, we are no longer your opponents but your friends and will always be happy to help you with any problems or difficulties. So don't be sad or frustrated if you need some hints to complete your mission, that's normal.
Our small team consists of 9 people who will guide you safely and with a lot of fun through the games. For questions and suggestions you can always contact us, we are always happy to help you.
Do you have questions about booking?
The Message in the Bottle room, for example, was designed and built as it could have been at the time of H.M.S. Blenheim. Both the puzzles and the appearance could have been built that way in 1807. Only oil lamps were replaced by electric lights to eliminate the fire hazard and Torx screws were used instead of those with a simple slit :).
During Corona there were many offers where a game leader was strapped with a camera and the players could "remotely" control the gamemaster on the computer. With us, that's not possible, because the fun comes not only from thinking around the corner, but from experiencing! You have to touch our puzzles and prove your skill!
We always follow a common theme during the room creation. Each solution must be logical and solvable. But that doesn't mean that the puzzles are easy, on the opposite! If you don't understand a puzzle, ask your game master at the end of the game and he will explain it to you.
In many Escape Rooms, the goal is to find numerical codes to open combination locks. Not with us! We try to develop different puzzles that challenge you and strengthen cooperation. In all our rooms it is impossible to complete the mission alone. A third hand is always needed.
All our puzzles are unique! Just because you've solved one room brilliantly doesn't mean you'll be able to solve all of our rooms without any problems. In the other rooms you will be confronted with completely new challenges that require different skills and ways of thinking.
Your game master is your best friend for the hour you spend with us. He observes you and always gives you a little help should you be stuck on the line. However, he never tells you the solution, but only gives you a little push so that you can find the solution yourself.
For children's groups, we have developed special game sequences that focus on the strengths of young people. Because compared to adults, children are much better at searching and discovering rooms. This is exactly what they get more of with the children's versions. Adults, on the other hand, have more puzzles to solve. The age restrictions are recommendations from our partner, the Kindermuseum München, who tested our games.
